A natural deodorant-making workshop can be an informative and engaging way to learn about the benefits of natural personal care products, as well as the science behind them.
Activity:
- Introduction to natural deodorant: The workshop could begin with an introduction to natural deodorant, which is made from natural ingredients such as baking soda, coconut oil, and essential oils. Participants would learn about the benefits of natural deodorant, including its ability to control odour without harsh chemicals or irritants.
- Making natural deodorant: Participants would have the opportunity to make their own natural deodorant, using materials like baking soda, coconut oil, and essential oils. They would learn about the different ingredients and how they interact, as well as how to customize their deodorant for their specific needs.
- Testing and refining: After making their natural deodorant, participants would have the opportunity to test it out and make any necessary adjustments. They would learn about the importance of testing and refining products, as well as how to troubleshoot common issues like irritation or odour.
- Reflection and discussion: Finally, the workshop would conclude with a reflection and discussion period, where participants would share their thoughts and feelings about the experience. They would discuss what they learned about natural personal care products, as well as strategies for promoting sustainability and health in their daily lives.
Through this activity, participants can learn a variety of valuable lessons. They can gain a deeper understanding of the science behind natural deodorant, and how it differs from conventional products. They can also develop practical skills for making and using natural personal care products, and learn about the benefits of natural ingredients for their health and the environment. Finally, they can build connections with other community members who share their passion for sustainability and health and feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
