Welcome to the EU Rights Quest, a game designed to help you learn about the rights that all EU citizens enjoy!
This game is part of Rights4YOUth project. The Rights4YOUth project is implemented under the BUILD program by
PlanBe, Plan it Be it. BUILD is co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) program, the Bodossaki Foundation, and the NGO Support Centre.
The EU Rights Quest playlist is an interactive journey designed to help young people discover, understand, and reflect on their rights as citizens of the European Union. Through a series of engaging and creative activities, participants will explore fundamental EU values such as democracy, equality, freedom of movement, data protection, cultural and linguistic diversity, labour rights, and more.
Each activity invites participants to learn through videos, interactive games, quizzes, real-life scenarios, and reflection questions. Your Data, Your Right: Understanding Data Protection in the EU
Activity Description:
This self-paced learning activity introduces young people to the Right to Data Protection of the European Union. In a digital world where personal information is constantly collected and shared, understanding this right is more important than ever.
Participants will:
📱 Learn through a game what personal data is, how it’s used, and how to protect it
🤔 Reflect on their own digital habits and evaluate how their data is handled by apps, websites, and institutions
🛡 Discover their rights under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in a youth-friendly way
💬 Answer thought-provoking questions to connect EU law with everyday digital experiences
This activity empowers youth (15–30 years old) to take control of their digital footprint and to become more conscious, responsible digital citizens.
The Olaf Maze game provides an engaging and interactive way to learn about data protection and privacy rights in the European Union, with a specific focus on safeguarding these principles. As you navigate through the maze, you’ll face real-world scenarios that challenge your understanding of data security and how the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to everyday situations. This activity highlights the commitment to ensuring personal data is handled responsibly and securely.
