Each step in this learning pathway is a residential (or online) workshop with some videos to watch, some material to read, some tasks to do.

This activity will help you raise your confidence and recognize your potential. During this activity you will understand the importance of assertive behaviour and communication as part of empowerment and will learn some techniques to boost your assertiveness, build self-esteem and perceive your strengths.
This training session will help you:
to react in an assertive way in personal and vocational situations;
to practice methods and techniques for identifying strong points, things you are good at.
Complete the following activities:
Take a sheet of paper and write down up to 5 things you feel grateful for.
Think what assertiveness means to you. Share with others.
Get familiar with the table: Redefining assertiveness where you will find differences between assertiveness, submissive and aggressive behavior.
Think of a situation when you reacted not in the way you wanted to. Imagine the same situation using the 4 steps of assertiveness. Ask them to write down your short monologues.
